law, used eyeglasses cannot be used in the US. Eyeglasses are carefully
screened for use overseas, primarily Mexico and the Caribbean countries. They
are carefully packed and sent to those countries where they are again screened
for possible use, and then are distributed to eye doctors in those countries to
be reground.
