Mission Statement
We are a worshiping community called to live the gospel of Jesus.
We welcome you to join us just as you are.
We welcome you to join us just as you are.
Vision Statement
We believe that all are made by God, intentionally and beautifully.
We value the inherent gifts of all
and welcome everyone into full participation in the life of the church.
We are committed to deeply listening and faithfully sharing with one another.
We are committed to our ecumenical, interfaith, and community partnerships,
joining together in working for justice for all God’s creation.
We are an open and affirming,
immigrant-welcoming,
and peace with justice congregation.
We acknowledge that we ourselves are works in progress
and dedicate ourselves to be transformed
through our faith and spirituality.

new Mission and Vision statements 2026
These statements are a compilation of ideas gathered from the surveys in the fall of 2025, the table-top conversations over the winter (2025-26),
and your votes and input this spring (2026) and endorsed by the leadership team.
These statements reflect a moment in time, this time of transition. They are meant to reflect who we are now and how we choose to live in community with each other and our world.
These statements are meant to be revisited in a few years, and adapted to fit the mission we will be living and the vision we will be striving to fulfill in the future we are now imagining.
Your Mission and Vision team,
Greg and Sue Rutherford, Bobbi Hargleroad, Beckie Chambers, and Mark Nelson.
