Next Sunday (11/30) 🌠 Nov. 30 – The First Sunday of Advent A new season begins! Join us as we light the first candle of Hope and begin our Advent journey toward Christmas. 9 a.m. Advent Listening Circles begin. Adult Education Hour Advent Circles will begin 11/30 and run through Advent. We will explore Hope, Joy, Peace, and Love within our community. Join us Sunday mornings from 9-10 a.m. Led by members of Plymouth who are being trained in Restorative practices and circle facilitation. Refrigerator and freezer clean-out day is Sun., 11/30. All items not labeled will be trashed. Thank you. Meg Jeffrey Additional Items Fri., 12/5 at 5:30 p.m. Jingle Jam chili cook-off and Advent extravaganza, including hanging of the greens. Do you want the chance for year-long Plymouth bragging rights? Enter your chili into the cook-off! Specify details about your chili (like allergens, spice level, etc.) here. Chili not your thing? Bring a cornbread or dessert to share instead! The E.V. chargers in our parking lot are fully operational and ready to serve the community’s electric vehicle charging needs. Plymouth partnered with Enertech. They provide expertise, full funding, and future service; we provide 6 parking spaces. Enertech will split future profits 50:50 with the church. Support global mission partners through handcrafted gifts, fair-trade items, and community connections that make a difference. Info and donate online (no purchases) at plymouthucc.org/tmm. The Advent/Christmas postcards were mailed on Thursday afternoon (11/13) and will be available at the welcome table starting Sunday 11/23 for those who didn't receive one. Next Sunday (11/16) 🏳️⚧️ Nov. 16 – Transgender Day of Remembrance Sunday Our Open and Affirming Ministry Team will lead worship in honor of Transgender Day of Remembrance—a service of courage, compassion, and commitment to justice. Additional Events Nov. 14 – Memorial Service for Joyce Sjogren: Fri. at 2 p.m. Any services that are streamed can be found at plymouthucc.org/memorial 🧹 Nov. 15 – Church Cleanup Day! 8 a.m.– noon. Join us for a fun morning of cleaning, organizing, and caring for our shared spaces! Come for an hour or stay the whole time—every hand helps make Plymouth shine! ✨ Nov. 15 – Get-a-Grip Thanksgiving potluck: Sat. at 6 p.m. All welcome, couples and singles, age 50+. Location is the Trails on Timberline Apartments Welcome Center. Please bring a table setting and a Thanksgiving-style dish to share. Beverages provided but you may bring your own. Next Sunday (11/9) 🦃 Stewardship Sunday & Potluck Pledge cards are due! After worship, join us for a turkey-centric Thanksgiving potluck hosted by Congregational Life. Bring a dish that celebrates gratitude and abundance. Additional Events 🥫 Nov. 9 & 16 – Food Drive Sundays Help us fill the shelves for our neighbors! We’re collecting non-perishable food for Larimer County Food Bank and Rams Against Hunger (CSU’s food security program). Bring your donations to worship—let’s overflow those bins!
