• Big cleanup on Thurs., 8/6. Have you lost a personal item at Plymouth? Please check the Lost & Found in the closet area in the Narthex. All items in the Lost & Found will be donated or trashed that day. Additionally, you are invited to join the Clean Team and the Trustees at the annual kitchen cleaning from 9 a.m. to noon. Bring rags and your favorite cleaning products. NOTE: Items may be removed and trashed. Questions: Meg Jeffrey (plymouthucc.org/contact).
• During Fellowship Hour on Sun., 8/9, we will be saying goodbye to Rev. Kimberly and celebrating the support and services that both Revs. Kimberly Salico-Diehl and John Smith provided to Plymouth during their two separate bridge ministries.
• Student Welcome Event: Cooling off this week by hanging around in your basement? Finding boxes of no-longer-needed household items (bedding, towels, long-replaced small appliances, dishes, cookware....) but can't get them upstairs or to Plymouth without assistance? HELP IS AVAILABLE. Contact the Student Support Team and work out a plan for someone to help move and/or transport your items now or during Drop-Off Week, which starts 8/9 (form on this page).
• Sing in the Choir for Rev. Chris’s First Sunday. Come to rehearsal on Wed., 8/12 at 7 p.m. and sing on Sun., 8/16 for worship. Questions? David.
• Concert 8/19. The Spirit of Music: American Traditional Songs and Original Music. Join Czech musicians Chaazi Levicek (mezzo-soprano) and Jiri Levicek (piano, alto sax) for an evening of traditional American songs as well as original music, 7 p.m. on Wed., 8/19, at Plymouth. • For those who do not have a picture in the directory in the F1Go app, Marilu and George Theodore will be taking pictures after worship Sundays 8/23 and 8/30. If you will not be in church, you can email a head shot to the office with your name, and any changes needed for the directory. You can also upload your own photo in the app. Need more info on getting the F1Go app? New Mission & Vision Statements
Plymouth has new Mission and Vision statements. These statements are a compilation of ideas gathered from the surveys last fall, the table-top conversations over the winter, and your votes and input this spring, and endorsed by the leadership team.
