In addition, during worship on Oct. 6, 13, and 20 we will be collecting items for ISAAC’s Newcomer Youth Winter Drive, specifically winter hats, warm gloves, and teen hygiene bags (full-sized products in reusable grocery bags. Items include: shampoo, conditioner, lotion, deodorant, body wash, razors, toothpaste, floss, toothbrush. You can contribute items without assembling a bag!) Sunday 9 a.m. adult small groups. We are hoping to host a couple more small groups for adults for another 6 week session, starting 11/3. Equipping the Saints is the theme. The Crop Hunger Walk is a yearly fundraising event around the country that supports the work of Church World Service to respond to hunger, poverty, displacement, and disaster around the world. Organ Encounter on Sun. 10/13 at 11:15 a.m. - noon in the sanctuary following worship. Hurricane Helene made landfall in Florida late on Thursday, September 26, as a category four storm empowered by high water temperatures in the Gulf of Mexico, bringing a devastating 20-foot storm surge and 140 mph winds. After landfall in Florida’s Big Bend region, the storm proceeded northeast into Georgia, western South Carolina, western North Carolina, and eastern Tennessee as a category 1 storm....
