I'm a CSU student...
Plymouth Congregational UCC is located spiritually, intellectually, and physically at Colorado State University within steps of the new CSU stadium, thousands of student apartments, and the heart of the university community.
Our members are current CSU students, professors, staff, university administrators, professors emeriti, alumni, and other intellectually curious people who value the focus on the life of the mind as well as the heart that comes from living in a university city.
Plymouth recently received a grant of the Rocky Mountain Conference UCC to further develop our relationship with CSU and its students, which led to the development of Ram Fellowship @ Plymouth (see below). Email Nic Redavid with questions and ideas.
Please note many of these are on hold during Covid. But you can attend our worship livestream wherever you are!
Concrete steps to getting involved as a student right now:
1. Attend worship on a Sunday morning or evening. Our members are warm and welcoming and our ministers are always available for coffee or to help with questions. We are always looking for new musicians and choir members.
2. Attend an event sponsored by Ram Fellowship @ Plymouth, the fellowship group dedicated to CSU, FRCC, and all college students. Through monthly events during the academic year, we foster community and fun, provide an intentionally safe space, and welcome all student members of Plymouth, friends, and visitors. All are welcome! Click the dark green Ram logo to visit the Facebook group.
3. Plymouth Social Club (young adults) meets monthly with fellowship events for everyone in their 20's and 30's. All are welcome! Click the logo to visit the Facebook group.
4. Participate in a social justice community project with Plymouth including helping us with a Habitat for Humanity Build, coming with us to a social justice march in Denver, assisting us when we host homeless families at Plymouth through FFH, serving meals with us at the mission, or any of dozens of other ways to give your time to help in the community.
