Join us this November for
Spiritual Practice Workshops centered on the theme Rooted In Love. Every Sunday at 10am there will be prayer practices and activities set up in each of our Sunday School rooms. These intergenerational practices are designed to get you out of your head and to rest in God's loving embrace. This week’s workshops:

This is why I kneel before the Father. Every ethnic group in heaven or on earth is recognized by him. I ask that he will strengthen you in your inner selves from the riches of his glory through the Spirit. I ask that Christ will live in your hearts through faith. As a result of having strong roots in love, I ask that you’ll have the power to grasp love’s width and length, height and depth, together with all believers. I ask that you’ll know the love of Christ that is beyond knowledge so that you will be filled entirely with the fullness of God. Glory to God, who is able to do far beyond all that we could ask or imagine by his power at work within us; glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus for all generations, forever and always. Amen. Ephesians 3: 14-21

Welcome,
This month you are invited to stop talking about God and begin talking with God. In November the 10 o’clock hour will transform from classrooms into intergenerational experiences of the Holy. Each room will have something different and the offerings will change each week.
One of the great gifts that Church provides is the opportunity for intergenerational learning. These spiritual practices are designed for all ages, and we ask that children go through the month accompanied by an adult. Parents, grand-parents, gay-uncle-recruited-for-the-occasion, all will be blessed by the chance to engage these activities together with children. Some will even lend themselves to use at home later on.
This Passport will help guide you along the way by showing you when and where different practices will be held. Each room will have a stamp that you can use to mark your participation in the practice. Get four stamps and turn in your passport to get a special prize.
Come and get Rooted in Love!
Grace and Peace,
The Rooted Planning Team: Denise Morrison, Joey Prows, Mackenzie Wiggs, Mandy Hall, Mark Lee, Renae Matkins, Sharon Smith, and Tricia Medlock
